January

This summer, I had the opportunity to take photos for a local band called, January. Most of the photos were for social media, but they ended up choosing one photo to use for their cover art for their newly released EP. Dan McGarr, the front man of January, had the idea to use moody lighting and neon lights for the shoot with the inspiration from the Dave and Buster’s shoot I did earlier in the summer. We went to Lake George Village and found a small arcade and other neon lights. Go check out the January EP on Youtube, Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Spotify, and iTunes. I’ll leave a link down below for their music. Thanks for incorporating me into this music experience, January!

Working or Camping???

A few weeks ago, It was still summer and the leaves weren’t changing colors yet. The air was still quite warm and it all just felt a little more free (maybe because of the lack of school). This summer I was so blessed to photograph so many seniors (and I still have one more to go as the season comes to an end). In mid August, I had a particular shoot that happened to be the same day my dad and brother wanted to go camping with me. I signed up for both and packed up all of my camera equipment with my hammock, snacks, and blankets. My family and I went down shelving rock road to one of the campsites. They set up the tent while I set up my hammock to sleep in. We took a quick hike down to Shelving Rock Falls and back, then made some hotdogs for dinner. Shortly after I rushed over to Lake George Village to do some senior portraits with Sabina! Although I had a jam packed day, I still wasn’t that tired because for some reason when i’m doing something i’m passionate about, my body just ignores all other discomforts. I even forget when i’m starving while i’m shooting sometimes! This shoot ended up being one of my favorites this senior season because of the beautiful tones throughout! Here’s a video of what happened at the campsite when I wasn’t shooting with Sabina, and then I also wanted to show you some of Sabina’s senior pics. Check out what went on this day :)

Planning for Fall Mini's

fallminis.jpg

Welcome all families, friends, couples, and doggos! On October 12th, Autumn Moon Portraits will be doing a day of mini shoots at Rush Pond in Queensbury. For those of you who don't know what mini shoots are, we will be shooting for 20 minutes instead of a full hour. You will receive 10 final images and the whole package is $50. This is a great opportunity for families with kids who want to get family portraits but don't want to shoot for a whole hour. This is also perfect for people looking for an affordable way to get a few photos with loved ones. Join us under the foliage in the woods and lets cozy up for some beautiful portraits! Contact us for some more information or to book a session. We look forward to seeing you there!
