Congrats to Jim and Heidi Lewis on their 50th anniversary! On May 4th, at the 1925 Barn in Hudson Falls, NY, family and friends gathered to surprise the happy couple and celebrate! The interior set the perfect scene with its home like feel, but spacious structure and beauuuutttiful lights! Around 4:45, all of the guests gathered around the door and waited anxiously for Jim, and Heidi to pull up to the barn. When they walked in, everyone cheered and it was awesome to see the surprise and awe on their faces. After mingling and saying hello to all of their loved ones who traveled there, the family met my assistant and I outside for some portraits. We got the big group shot out of the way first and might I say, that I was IMPRESSED with how they handled it. Never in my experience have I seen a family arrange themselves so perfectly for a group shot with little to no direction. In a normally case, I have to place about 75% of everyone in a group shot, but they knew exactly what to do and exactly where to be. Jim and Heidi were glowing the whole time and we so cute together as well. After portraits came the food and more time to chat with old friends.
